How to convert Rinex 3.XX to Rinex 2.11

Steps to use RTKLib's RTKCONV tool to convert to Rinex 2.11 while keeping muliple constellations

 

Step 1: Check Rinex Version3.

- Once you have a Rinex file you can open it in any text editor to confirm what version of rinex you have

- Once open look at the top left to see what what version the rinex is. If it is 2.11 then you are ready to use in pulse. If you see 3.0 or higher continue to the following steps to convert 

 

Step 2: Download the RTKCONV tool

Step3: Run and setup the rtkconv.exe file.

- Once open start by selecting the rinex file by clicking the browse button

 

- Select Options and within the options window select 2.11 for the Rinex version

 

- Then make sure all the available constellations are selected for conversion 

 

- Press ok then in the convert window change the output file extension to .o

 

- Click Convert

 

Now you have a RINEX version Ready for Pulse Processing.
