Give details on how to activate a license and how to connect a secondary computer to the activated license
Steps to activation
open the Software License Utility Software
This License Utility was installed a part of the SmartDrone Installer
Once opened make sure you are connected to the internet before activation
Click on the activate license button
copy and past the EIN code provided on purchase of a Discovery Drone.
Click Activate and wait for the license features to populate in the License Information window
Connecting a Secondary Computer to the Activated License
First make sure you are connected to the same network that the activated license computer is connected to
Make sure the activated license computer is on
Make sure that your network allows computers to be discovered within your network
Most networks allow this but talk with your IT department if you are experiencing issues in searching for the activated license
Open the Software License Utility Software
This License Utility was installed a part of the SmartDrone Installer
Select the License Server
Then in the License Server window select "Search"
this will populate the found activated licenses on the network
Select the found computer name or IP address and click "Add"
If you do not find the computer hosting the license server, review the hosting computer's firewall rules. In some cases the Software License Utility does not set the firewall inbound rules for the "Sentinel RMS License Manager"
If you see there is no inbound rule for "Sentinel RMS License Manager" talk to your IT department about enabling a rule to allow inbound connections.
then select Save
Close the License Server window and click "Refresh License"
The license Info should show up if successful
If the license info does not show up try restarting the computer
If on re-opening the Software License Utility, the Info is not within License Information talk with your IT department and ask if your network allows computers to be discovered within your network
